About the role
They are currently recruiting for a Project Manager – MRO to be part of the AMOS implementation in Technical Division. This is a 2 years fixed term contract based in Qatar.
In this role, you will manage a project management team for the MRO system implementation, development and evaluation of the program. You will work to achieve the project outcomes and support the achievement of organizational objectives. You will ensure the delivery of the enterprise MRO system implementation and its dependent sub-projects such as Data Migration from current MRO to the new MRO system. You will ensure that industry best practices, procedures and project governance frameworks are followed.
Specific responsibilities of the role include the following:
•Manages all aspect of project planning, development and implementation for a range of MRO related sub-project. This includes developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements and supporting project related activities.
•Monitors and evaluates all aspect of MRO project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realization, project impact and quality measures.
•Ensures risk management controls and plan are in place for the project.
•Prepares project reports and briefs, maintains documentation and implements & monitors project plans.
•Ensures project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, as per quality standards and within agreed scope aligned with the established project methodology.
•Maintains project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes.
•Sources, collates and compiles data and information to identify emerging risks, issues and concerns.
•Analyses and documents the business requirements, system interface specifications and non-functional requirements. Undertakes research and analysis, identifies trends and prepares project briefs to support informed decision-making and planning.
•Liaises with the Systems team to develop a cross functional capability by implementing and executing systems or projects.
•Monitors the completion of MRO system project and implements effective and rigorous project evaluation methodologies.
•Manages transitions between the project stages of MRO system implementation and ensures that changes are consistent with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements.
•Acts as a single point of contact for project management services requested by Technical Business Stakeholders and Management.
•Plans and manages the smooth completion of the requirements workshops with various stakeholders.
•Manages consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders taking into consideration the varying expectations, viewpoints and deliverables.
•Establishes the Project teams objectives and priorities to align and support business Project objectives.

Qualifications:
About you
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
•Minimum 6 years of job related experience.
•Strong experience in Project Management in aviation/ transport/ travel industry
•Knowledge of MRO systems. Previous AMOS implementation experience as a Project Manager is highly desirable.
•Relevant experience in MRO Operations and Data Migrations from Legacy system to AMOS.
•Excellent command of English language.
•Knowledge of Project Management life cycle, support and Project implementation methodologies.
•Committed to pro-active review of Projects processes and procedures
•Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with both Technical and non-Technical staff at all levels.
•Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office suite.
•Strong planning and organizational skills.
•Able to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
•Broad knowledge of aviation applications, MRO systems and Project Management.
