About the role
They are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager – MRO to be part of the AMOS implementation in Technical Division. This is a 2 years fixed term contract based in Qatar.
In this role, you will provide overall leadership and strategic direction to all MRO project deliverable in coordination with other Project teams, Stakeholders and Vendors. You will manage the Technical Division’s overall project delivery for the MRO implementation and Data Migration to the new system. You will lead a team for implementation of the MRO system including systems, tools, processes and its dependent procedure and compliance framework.
Specific responsibilities of the role include the following:
•Establishes the MRO Project team’s objectives and priorities to support the business objectives. Develops and implements MRO Project management plans to ensure the success of the department’s objectives and deliverables are met.
•Develops relevant reports and dashboards to monitor and manage the progress of project delivery.
•Defines business strategies and organizational policies to enable the strategic coordination of the MRO systems implementation and its dependent projects and initiatives.
•Identifies and defines the major strategic issues for the organization and integrates diverse stakeholders’ interests. Provides necessary information on the development and prioritization of project initiatives.
•Leads the design and implementation of a common project management methodology, standards and tools to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of MRO implementation project.
•Works towards achieving project deadlines and milestones to the required standards and milestones.
•Leads the execution of a Project governance, reporting and framework. Establishes appropriate governance forums/ committees as per best practice.
•Oversees interdependencies and communication across projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are communicated effectively.
•Balances competing demands to ensure MRO program objectives are achieved.
•Establishes and controls change management process to simplify and improve MRO program delivery to realize benefits.
•Ensures revised procedures are in line with the QCAA/ EASA regulatory requirements and relevant quality approvals.
•Ensures the system set up and its processes and configurations meets the EASA AMC requirements and signed off by Technical Quality Assurance.
•Communicates regularly with key stakeholders to ensure MRO outcomes are met.
•Manages consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines.
•Manages teams to ensure MRO program business objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
•Establishes the department or team’s objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives and Project sponsor.

Qualifications
About you
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
•Minimum 10 years of job related experience.
•Strong experience in Project Management  in aviation/ transport/ travel industry
•Certified Project Management (PMI, PRINCE2) qualification or equivalent experience with PPM framework.
•Experience in implementation of MRO systems at large organization level.
•Knowledge of MRO systems. Previous experience of AMOS implementation in a large organization is desired. 
•Relevant experience in MRO Operations and Migrations of M&E systems.
•Excellent command of English language.
•Knowledge of Project Management life cycle, support and Project implementation methodologies.
•Committed to pro-active review of Projects processes and procedures
•Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with both Technical and non-Technical staff at all levels.
•Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office suite.
•Strong planning and organizational skills.
•Able to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. 
•Broad knowledge of aviation applications, MRO systems and Project Management.
